Recruitment Notification Number: REC/2016/01- West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of various positions. West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd set up in 2007, wholly owned by Government of West Bengal, is a professionally managed, a multi-sited Power Transmission Company in Eastern India. As on the end of financial year 2014-15, WBSETCL operates and maintains a transmission network of 12043 CKM of Extra High Voltage

Transmission lines along with 113 sub-stations (400 kV, 220 kV, 132 kV and 66 kV) having total transformation capacity of 24550 MVA, spread over the entire stretch of the State of West Bengal. The company also manages the state load dispatch center, which monitors and controls the grid operations.

Age:  

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2016 Age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC Candidates will be 5 years and 3 years respectively. PWD Candidates will get age relaxation upto 45 years. Ex-Serviceman candidates will get age relaxation according to rules. SC/ST/OBC candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates
